Eintracht Frankfurt: Kevin Trapp wants to accept offer from ManUnited | Sports

Trapp considering accepting Man United offer

It would be a real change hammer!

As BILD reported exclusively, Eintracht goalkeeper Kevin Trapp (32) has an offer from Premier League club Manchester United. Will the Hessians lose the next essential top performer after Filip Kostic (29)?

Kicker reported that Trapp is actually willing to accept the offer of a four-year deal from Manchester! However, BILD knows that – as of now – everything is still open. The custodian is considering accepting the offer, but hasn’t made up his mind.

BILD also knows that Eintracht Frankfurt doesn’t really want to let the national goalkeeper go. The club even wanted to tackle the extension of his contract, which expires in 2024.

But is everything different now?

At the SPORT BILD award in the Hamburg fish auction hall, Trapp did not make a clear commitment on Monday evening. “Manchester is a big club but I haven’t looked into it yet.”

He allegedly knew nothing about an offer from the English. According to BILD information, he is aware of United’s interest.

Coach Oliver Glasner (47) said: “I’m not the last decision-maker, Kevin and the club have to decide that in the end. From a sporting point of view, I would of course like to keep such a great goalkeeper and people. He’s a great role model. Always one of the first in training.”

After a disastrous start to the season, Manchester United celebrated their first win of the season in a 2-1 win against Liverpool on Monday evening. In contrast to Eintracht, who will play in the Champions League this season, the team coached by Erik ten Hag (52) only competes in the Europa League.

Should Kevin Trapp actually leave Frankfurt, Eintracht would have to be active again on the transfer market by September 1st. Because the substitutes Diant Ramaj (20) and Jens Grahl (33) could not replace the loss of quality.
