DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (27/8/22): Alineaciones de MLB DFS

We load 11-game slates tonight at DraftKings and FanDuel like baseball barrels around September. You know me, I go to watch college football, but I’m not too busy to put money into baseball tournaments. There’s still money to be made here too!

We have a lot of great pitching prospects on this list, though none of them are really “aces.” What are the best options out there? Let’s not rush. Fortunately, the weather looks good throughout baseball. We are getting to another part of the season where rain can be a problem again.

As always, this article will provide my Daily fantasy baseball programming picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. Saturday main board locks at 7:05 pm EST on 08/27/2022. Options in the lineup will range from some high-priced elite players to mid-priced options and value games. I’ll give you some of my best throwing options, then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack! You can also read more DFS tips and scheduling options for other sports here. It’s also essential to watch today’s injury news and starting lineups in the MLB. Now that we’ve got everything figured out, it’s time to choose!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers – MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Merrill Kelly en CWS ($9,100 DK, $9,000 FD)

Castillo was roughed up by the A’s in his last start and Woodruff has really struggled against the Cubs this year for some reason. I’ll join Kelly, who has a 2.49 ERA on the road this year and hasn’t allowed more than three runs in a game since June 24.

It’s more about Kelly’s consistency than the opponent. We’ve seen Kelly post at least five strikeouts in every game since the break, but that could be routine against the White Sox. In FanDuel I could see the use of Darvish or Castle for the reverse K, but Royals and Guardians don’t hit much either.

Drew Smyly and MIL ($7,900 DK, $8,300 FD)

With no respect for the Pirates, the Brewers have been one of the most impactful teams on planet Earth this month. The Brew Crew has hit a putrid 0.176 over the past two weeks and an overall 0.199 in August. They’re still hitting a few home runs here and there, but they’ve hit a staggering 29.1% this month.

Meanwhile, Smyly is reborn on the north side. He has allowed just three runs in 24 innings so far in August with 23 strikeouts in that span. Smyly isn’t usually a big hitter, but he has been lately and the Brewers should get to it. I would never have imagined that I would be using Smyly at DFS in 2022, but here we are.

Also think: Yu Darvish, Luis Castillo, Eduardo Rodriguez

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders – MLB DFS Roster Picks

Paul Goldschmidt – 1B, STL contra Charlie Morton ($6500 DK, $4500 FD)

Goldschmidt continues to hit the cover off the ball. He has nine home runs, 27 RBIs and 21 runs scored in August alone. He’s walking average against Morton in his career, but Goldy is hitting a solid .406 against curveballs this season. He’s seeing everything right now and Morton is prone to the occasional outburst. He has allowed at least five runs in three of his last seven starts.

Jose Ramirez – 3B, CLE to Luis Castillo ($6,000 DK, $4,200 FD)

Ramírez has four hits in 12 attempts against Castillo. He has 14 total bases on those four hits (two triples, two home runs). Castillo has been tearing up pitching lately anyway. He has three home runs and six RBIs this week. Seeing his old friend Castillo, who he feasted on in the battle for the Ohio Interleague Series, should keep the streak hot for Jose.

Vaughn Grissom – 2B, ATL a Jordan Montgomery ($2,700 DK, $3,300 FD)

Montgomery has only allowed one run in four starts as a Cardinal, so I won’t go after him under any circumstances. However, Grissom continues to show big numbers and is essentially free (at least in DK…it’s a bit harder to sell in FD). Grissom is hitting .367 with three home runs, 10 RBIs and a pair of interceptions in just 16 games (not to mention 22 hits and 14 runs scored). At this price, I’d be happy if Grissom gets 5-10 points. He does it in almost every game.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders – MLB DFS Roster Picks

Aaron Judge – OF, NYY en Adam Oller ($6,300 DK, $5,000 FD)

Judge is still in one of those heaters. He has three home runs in his last four games with seven RBIs and three runs scored. He even swept a base! Oller hasn’t been very good in any major league park, but he’s inexplicably bad in his cavernous ballpark. Oller allowed seven home runs in just 28 innings at the Coliseum. That’s one every four innings. Everybody stand up!

Mitch Haniger – OF, SEA contra Zach Plesac ($4,100 DK, $3,700 FD)

It’s been an incredible week for Haniger. He is hitting .300 with three home runs, seven RBIs and three runs scored. Four of those five games were at home, so the road parks were not favorable either. Plesac’s numbers aren’t too bad, but a look at his Statcast page tells you there’s a lot of luck involved. Plesac is likely to back down and Haniger is hitting all of his offers right. I hope Haniger stays warm tonight.

Corey Dickerson contra Charlie Morton ($ 2300 DK, $ 2400 FD)

Another Cardinals rehab project became another Cardinals success story. Dickerson has been on fire for the past week, hitting .571 with three RBIs and four runs scored. He is now hitting .278 with four home runs this season. It’s a great way to get two good pitchers into your lineup. The fact that he went 8-for-18 with a pair of home runs in his career against Charlie Morton is just more gas for the man on fire.

DraftKings, pilas FanDuel MLB DFS

Here are my best stacks for tonight (in the order I like them):

New York Yankees- I have already highlighted Adam Oller’s struggles at home. The Bombers have Judge on a radiator and Giancarlo Stanton has three RBIs in two games since he returned from the IL. This offensive is showing signs of life after a slow first half of August. Hitting a guy like Oller could really get them going.

San Diego Padres – The Padres’ attack finally begins again. It seemed that the news of Fernando Tatis Jr. had taken your breath away and the struggles of Juan Soto had not helped. Four games against his old team have woken Soto up, and a trip to Kansas City can’t hurt. Daniel Lynch’s ERA is 1.28 points higher at home than on the road and he has allowed 11 runs in his last four starts (including a five-inning fluke against the Dodgers). The Padres are expected to feast on a KC barbecue tonight.

Detroit Tigers – Yes, the Tigers are bad, but I guarantee you Dallas Keuchel is worse. Plus, Detroit is up 46 points against lefties this season. While he still doesn’t hit very hard, the Tigers have hit a respectable .241 average over the past two weeks and have cut back on strikeouts. Javier Baez has beaten lefties this year and let’s not forget that Keuchel has an 8.53 ERA on the season and has already been cut not once but twice in 2022. If the Tigers hit him from behind in the majors, he can spend a third. weather.

Honorable Mention: Seattle Mariners
