Background: As part of a DFB campaign for environmental and climate protection, all first-round games that had already been played at the end of July/beginning of August were kicked off a minute later. The action will now be continued in the two games played by Leipzig and Bayern.
Further campaigns were planned as part of the “Climate Protection Campaign Day”. Among other things, all clubs participating in a joint fundraising campaign will donate 100 euros for each self-scored goal on the day of the campaign. According to the association, the donations are bundled via the DFB, which doubles the sum.
