Debuts the selected San Rafael U17

The Tournament Federal It is a competition organized by the Argentine Basketball Confederation where the 64 best teams in the country participate in the U13, U15 and U17 categories. This weekend it will be the turn of the U17 category.

In the tournament organized by the ASBRI (San Rafael Rodolfo Iselín Basketball Association), Colegio San Martin de General Alvear became champion, decided to join with the runner-up, Tenis Club and the third, Real del Padre to form a stronger team and also requested players from the team that came fourth in the ISMA (Malargüe Secondary School) tournament.

The coach of this category is the renowned teacher, Néstor Sánchez accompanied by Alejandro Corra.

A beautiful possibility for the boys from the South of the province to show their conditions and compete with other teams of an equal and higher level and gain experience for the future.

With an adequate preparation and very motivated, they will surely be great protagonists of the tournament, looking for the passport to the national definition.

The team of the Sanrafaelina Basketball Association “Rodolfo Iselín” will debut today, at 12 o’clock at the “Hipólito Yrigoyen” Municipal Sports Center located in Luján de Cuyo facing the team of the Municipality of that department.

This afternoon at 6:00 p.m., the ASBRI youth will visit the “Esteban Constantini” indoor stadium, in the eastern province, to face Atlético Club San Martín.

The squad of the southern team is made up of players from the Colegio San Martín de General Alvear, Real de Padre and the Tennis Club of San Rafael and the department of Malargüe.
