The two Danish mixed doubles who are participating in the tournament have been eliminated.
Rikke Søby and Mikkel Mikkelsen were eliminated in the first round on Tuesday after losing to a couple from Indonesia.
Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje lost the same day in the second round 13-21, 18-21 to Kyohei Yamashita and Naru Shinoya from the host nation Japan.
Christiansen and Bøje were otherwise seeded as number ten in the tournament, but could not live up to the seeding.
