This Tuesday, August 16, the Communal Games “Renacer Deportivo Guaicaipuro 2022” begin in Miranda state, with the participation of more than two thousand athletes from the jurisdiction.
The Games are organized by the Mayor’s Office of the Bolivarian municipality of Guaicaipuro, through the Municipal Autonomous Institute of Sports, Youth and Recreation (Imdejurguaica).
This was announced by the secretary of Social Development of the entity, Yenderth Alcalá, who indicated that these games will be resumed after four years, in order to promote sports massification in the municipality.
«From August 16, the communal games start with a parade from the Luis Navarro Gymnasium, to Bolívar Avenue in Los Teques, where all the teams and athletes from the different Guaicaipurean parishes will be present at the inauguration of this great sporting event» Alcala said.
He added that on this occasion, there will be many participating disciplines such as: chess, conventional athletics, basketball, baseball, boxing, soccer, judo, karate, gymnastics, wrestling, volleyball, table tennis, traditional games, among others.
