Barcelona have not been able to register Jules Kunde because they have to relax salary posts. But at the same time, they are looking for new players again. Complicated!
Barcelona postponed Jules Kunde’s debut, which should have happened against Rayo Vallecano, Sunday (14/8/2022) early this morning. Because they still have to organize their finances again to be able to register them with LaLiga.
So far they have only registered four new players namely Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha. That too was done close to the match against Rayo.
To register Kunde, Barcelona need to sell a number of players first so that their finances are looser. Players on the selling list include Frenkie de Jong, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, to Memphis Depay.
“It’s true that we still have to register Kunde and some players have to leave to be able to do it,” admitted Barcelona president Joan Laporta, as quoted by the Daily Mail. Sport.
But strangely, while still having trouble registering Kunde, Barcelona also admitted that they were eyeing a number of other players. The known targets are Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) and Marcos Alonso (Chelsea).
Laporta also openly admits that there are a number of names being targeted to further strengthen the team.
“Yes, it’s true that we are interested in some players. But first we will talk to their clubs first,” he continued.
“It’s already August 13, so imagine what’s left in the transfer market. But we can still work on some recruitments to make the team even more competitive,” said Laporta.
