The road to the final stage of the Buenos Aires Games does not stop its march and more and more athletes from Olavarri will not miss the October event in the city of Mar del Plata. Days ago, the regional tennis stage was held and the local delegation had an outstanding performance, adding 6 new classifieds.
The instance took place last Friday in the city of 25 de Mayo, where a large local delegation traveled led by teachers from the staff of the Undersecretary of Sports and Recreation of the Municipality of Olavarría.
In the female branch in singles, Olavarría’s performance was outstanding, to the point that she was the winner in 4 categories.
Paz Alberdi was the winner in Sub14, while Valentina Batista won in Sub16. In Sub 18 the victory went to Martina Canil and in Universitario the one classified the final stage was Luisina Duca Mansur.
In the men’s branch, also in singles, the local delegation also stood out, winning two categories. Juan Predigger was the best in Sub16, while Serafín Bianucci did the same in Sub18.
The competition will resume this Tuesday in our city, in Ferro, which will host the regional phase of 3×3 basketball. On Wednesday the activity will move to May 25, which will host hockey, while on Thursday in Rauch the Futsal tie will be held and Bolívar will play skate.
Artistic gymnastics and judo activities are scheduled for the weekend.
