Belgian cats get big kick from China in new training match

With no Emma Meissmann and Julie Allmand active in the WNBA, the Belgian Cats have started an interesting new exhibition match against China.

The Cats kept the competition easy, especially in the early stages, even taking the lead 20-17 at the end of the first quarter. Hind bin Abdul Qadir was particularly impressed.

Subsequently, more acute China has increasingly taken over. The score moved to 39-41 in the middle and in the third quarter the gap increased to 12 points.

Superb Si Jinghuang doubles up with 20 points and 12 rebounds and the Chinese win is no longer in jeopardy in the final minutes.

Tomorrow Belgium will also play against China, scheduled in Ostend. China will also be an opponent in the group stage of the World Cup.
