At 9:00 a.m. on July 30, under the bright red national flag and the inspiring national anthem, the 18th Beijing 3VS3 Street Basketball Challenge kicked off at Zhoujiazhuang Village Culture and Sports Park. This competition is hosted by Beijing Social Sports Management Center and Beijing Chaoyang District Sports Bureau, organized by Beijing Basketball Association, Beijing Chaoyang District Social Sports Management Center, Beijing Ruizhi Xiangyun Advertising Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Zhoujiazhuang Village Culture and Sports Park . This event has been held for 18 consecutive years and is known as the “Beijing Basketball Carnival”.
During the two-day competition, basketball masters from all walks of life in Beijing gathered together to make the passion for sports bursting out of basketball in the summer show more vitality. A field of intense and exciting competitions are constantly being staged on the basketball court. Each contestant exerts his basketball skills to the fullest. Skilled and neat, with tacit understanding, their superb level of competition and vigorous posture reflect the sports spirit of the vast number of basketball fans in Beijing. In order to better integrate street basketball culture into competitive sports, this event continues to adopt the 1+3 competition method, that is, the combination of one-on-one bullfighting and three-player basketball, which increases the viewing and competitiveness of the game. There are men’s and women’s groups and parent-child groups in this competition, with nearly 100 teams participating. According to the introduction of the organizer, it is hoped that through the grounded sport of street basketball, the physical fitness and health level of the general public will be improved, a national fitness platform will be built, the public’s cultural and sports life will be enriched, and the national health will be better promoted through national fitness. In addition, the parent-child group also uses parent-child competitions to let children feel the joy of sports and the warmth of their families. In accordance with the deployment and requirements of Beijing’s new crown pneumonia epidemic prevention and control work, the organizing committee of this event is guided by the “Guidelines for the Normalized Prevention and Control of the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic in Beijing Sports Events (Second Edition)”, and adheres to the principle of “foreign prevention and import, domestic prevention and control”. Anti-rebound” and “dynamic reset”, strictly implement the “quartet responsibility”, scientifically study and judge the epidemic prevention and control risks of sports events, improve the emergency response mechanism, establish a “circuit breaker mechanism” for events, and coordinate the promotion of competition organization and epidemic prevention and control. The competition firmly establishes the concept of people first and life first. A special working meeting on risk analysis and analysis is held before the competition, to strengthen safety management and safety education, and to pay close attention to various epidemic prevention measures. After two days of intense competition, although the physical exertion of the participating players was quite high, they also performed well and showed sportsmanship. In the end, the teams of Tylende Sports Team, Headphone Combination Team, Lianger Men’s Basketball Team, and Laopaicai Team Won the top four in the men’s group, the left-handed and right-handed team, the M baby team, the dog days playing a team, and the thunder team won the top four in the women’s group. Ziming Team, Love Mom Team, Unknown Team, and Unlimited Play Team won the top four in the parent-child group. Through the successful holding of this competition, the physical fitness needs of citizens under the normalization of the epidemic have been met, the fitness methods have been enriched, and they can enjoy the happiness brought by basketball.
