Behind the scenes of Hanck’s transfer? I pushed for LaLiga because of tennis, admitted Kristýna Plíšková

Tennis player Kristýna Plíšková became a mother three months ago, and now together with her partner, footballer Dávid Hanck, they are planning to move to a new destination. Rotterdam, the Netherlands, will become the home of the watched Czech-Slovak sports couple. In an interview with Livesport Zprávy, Kristýna talked not only about her plans to return to the tennis courts, but also about her husband’s relationship with Sparta and the decision about his future engagement.

Your partner is saying goodbye to football Letna and is heading to Feyenoord Rotterdam, where they have prepared a four-year contract for him. What do you think?

“Not that I’m sad about Rotterdam, but there were offers from better destinations. For me and for tennis. But for Dávid, it’s probably the best choice. There was Mallorca, that’s where I wanted the most. There was a tournament, there are others smaller tournaments, where I would like to somehow start playing tennis again, and Rafa Nadal’s academy is there. I pushed for that. There were other offers, but Dávid stood behind Feyenoord. I guess nothing else was decided, so I’m unlucky. (laughs) ).”

Do you even want to undergo such changes now that you have a baby?

“Straight? I really want to go! I’ve been used to traveling all my life, and now a year in one place has been very difficult for me. Although I like Prague and we have a wonderful time in Troja and I love it here. We’ll probably be alone outside for a while, but it’s not it’s the end of the world and sometimes someone comes to see us, be it parents, sisters or friends. Adam is nice and sleeps quite well so far, so I don’t need much help yet.”

Today you are already in the role of a mother and you even went to the Letna football match with your little son and a stroller. Did he see dad in Sparta, did he perceive it in any way?

“It was a bit more difficult. The carriage, the bag, the mother, the half-time was also in the stands in an egg, but I don’t think he had any idea that dad was playing. But then Dávid came to us and gave him a kiss. Adamek is tiny, he is two months old and a bit. But that’s also me. I want to start moving a little bit and we want the little one to rub off. I have a feeling that he likes when people are around, when there’s a bit of noise.”

Dávid became the unlucky hero of the recent cup match with Viking Stavanger. Then a beautiful gesture came from you, a message via Instagram with a heart, which was seen by many people…

“I could have told him at home, it would have been the same for him, but I knew how much he thought about it. He was really disappointed, I’ve never seen him like that… Even when I saw it in the match, the last two minutes, it was very clear to me. The way he was moving there, I knew what was going through his mind. It was an important game, there is talk of him transferring, and when it happened, it didn’t even happen it couldn’t even be reversed… That Instagram message was the first thing that came to my mind.”

Did you also perceive negative reactions from the football audience, or did the support prevail?

“It’s true that Dávid was really down for two days. But I think to myself, it’s not about life, there are other things, I have a child, he’s a dad. It was difficult, he was thinking a lot. The next day we went out with the pram, he had free day….”
