Before the double stage of the World Rallycross Championship, a parade of participants will take place in Riga

At the beginning from 18.30 At the Town Hall, all interested parties will be able to get acquainted with the participants of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) World Championship and their competition cars, which this year are powered by electric motors.

Also, the two Latvian racing drivers Jānis Baumanis and Ronalds Baldiņš, who will compete in this stage, will also take part in the event in Rātslaukumas.

After the end of the event, the participants will go on a joint parade ride, crossing the Akmens bridge to get to the AB dam.

“Assessing the changes experienced by the FIA ​​World Rallycross Championship, we decided to organize a presentation event for the participants of the championship and their cars in the very center of the city,” explains event director Raimonds Strokš.

The organizers want to show the new electric cars to as wide a part of society as possible.

The World Rallycross stage in Riga will take place on September 3 and 4 at the Biķernieki track.
