In front of their own fans, the Beaubassin-Est Jays baseball team won the qualifying tournament for the Atlantic U13 AA Championship this weekend.
In Sunday’s final, the Jays defeated the Fredericton Royals 13-5.
Beaubassin-Est won the top honors of the tournament in front of eight teams from the province.
The Jays will therefore represent New Brunswick at the Atlantic Championship, from September 16 to 18, in Newfoundland and Labrador.
