Striker Joel Pohjanpalo flushes Bayer Leverkusen a low single-digit million amount into the coffers a year before the end of his contract. According to ‘Bild’, FC Venice will pay a base fee of 2.5 million euros, with bonuses of 700,000 euros to follow.

Pohjanpalo is expected to have a medical check-up at the Italian second division club in the near future. The 27-year-old Finn has a contract until 2025. Pohjanpalo was loaned to the Turkish Süper Lig club Caykur Rizespor last season.
