Básquet Girona announces the arrival of Dusan Miletic

Dusan Miletic (2’14 m) is already a new player for Básquet Girona for the 2022/23 season, the season of his debut in the ACB. The Serbian pivot, born in 1994, has arrived from Partizan Belgrade, a Eurocup team.

Miletić made his debut for KK Polet in the Serbian First Division and the ABA Adriatic League (2017–18) and the following season he played for KK Sloga of the same competitions. A season later, the pivot moved to Partizan Belgrade, from where he left on loan to KK Borac Čačak (2019-21), which also competed in both the Serbian first division and the ABA. This last campaign, however, he returned to Partizan, to also make his debut in European competition, in the Eurocup.

In this way, the Serbian pivot joins the arrivals of Quino Colom, Pato Garino, Pol Figueras, Roko Prkacin, Kameron Taylor and Ondrej Hanzlik and the continuity of Jaume Sorolla, Josep Franch, Maxi Fjellerup and Èric Vila.

Jordi Plà i Comas, the club’s sporting director, assessed the signing as follows: “Dusan Miletic is a big five with very good legs and speed who will help us complete our inside game. In addition, he arrives with a special desire to play later of a season in which the strong competition at Partizan deprived him of the minutes he deserved.”
