Tokai block girls start on August 9th
The Japan Basketball Association (JBA) has been holding the “U18 Nissin Foods Kanto Block League” since last year with the aim of developing and strengthening the U18 generation together with Nissin Foods.
This year, which is the second year, the top league “U18 Nissin Foods Top League 2022” will be established by the U18 generation national men’s and women’s teams, and the participating blocks of the “U18 Nissin Foods Block League” will be divided into Kanto, Tokai, Chugoku, Expanded to 4 in Shikoku and will be held from this August. Teams recommended by the Basketball Association of each prefecture participate in the block league, and the prefectures where the teams participating in the top league belong are, in principle, recommended by the top team in the inter-high preliminaries, except for the teams participating in the top league. there is The Kanto block has one male and female team from each prefecture, the Tokai block has two male and female teams from each prefecture, the Chugoku block has one male and female team from each prefecture, and the Shikoku block has two male and female teams from each prefecture.
Then, starting with the Tokai block girls, the “U18 Nissin Foods Block League 2022” started on August 9th. The Tokai block girls will be held from August 9th to 11th, and will be a round robin league match (the same prefecture will not be played).
