Baseball star gets tattooed – with very unpleasant consequences

The New York Yankees team from the US Major League Baseball (MLB) has to do without their star Aroldis Chapman for the time being. The reason: a fresh tattoo.

The 34-year-old recently got a tattoo on his leg, and the fresh body paint caught fire.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone confirmed his player’s curious absence. “We treat him with antibiotics and things like that. Hopefully he’ll be fine in a few days. It’s gotten a little bit worse in the last two days,” Boone said.

Chapman was missing 35 games last time

The absence is particularly bitter because Chapman recently missed 35 games in the MLB due to an Achilles tendonitis. Now the 34-year-old has to sit out again.
