A Little League batter gets up after being hit by a shot to comfort an upset opposing pitcher in a dramatic scene during a Little League regional tournament game in Waco, Texas.
A shot by Texas right-hander Kaiden Shelton hit Oklahoma batter Isaiah Jarvis in the head on Tuesday.
Jarvis fell to the ground holding his head, but after a few moments was able to go to first base. Meanwhile, Shelton stood on the mound looking at the ground in tears until Jarvis walked over to the mound and put his arms around him to comfort him.
The gesture prompted a standing ovation.
