Barça: Depay, Aubameyang … The management is impatient

Pushed towards the exit due to the XXL recruitment of FC Barcelona in attack (Robert, Lewandowski, Raphinha), Pierre-Eymerick Aubameyang and Memphis Depay are still looking for the ideal destination for their future.

Under contract until June 2023, Memphis Depay has always proclaimed loud and clear his desire to stay in Catalonia. A year after his free arrival from Olympique Lyonnais, the Dutch striker will however find it difficult to shake up the hierarchy this season if he decides to bet on stability. This bet would be especially risky three months before the World Cup in Qatar, which he hopes to play as an indisputable holder with the Netherlands. Juventus Turin’s track recently closed for Depay due to Milik’s signature to the Old Lady in the form of a loan with an option to buy. Real Sociedad, who has just lost his Swedish striker Alexander Isak (Newcastle), surveyed the entourage of Depay. According to the latest information revealed by The Uncheckthe Basque club would like to attract the former Lyonnais on loan. Qualified for the Europa League group stagethe club trained by Imanol Alguacil hopes to win the bet in the home stretch of the summer transfer window.

Aubameyang has the King’s choice

Another attacker on the start, Pierre-Eymerick Aubameyang has more prestigious tracks. Several big clubs have looked into this matter in recent weeks and a return to the Premier League seems imminent. Chelsea were close to winning before Manchester United entered the fray, hoping to get ahead of the Blues with a more attractive offer. Despite a last offer of 90 million euros, the Red Devils fail to recruit the Brazilian striker from Ajax Amsterdam Antony and could fall back on this much less expensive plan B. In a press conference on Saturday, Xavi did not close the door to the departure of his two attackers. “I don’t rule out any situation. Neither that Aubameyang leaves or that Memphis leaves… a lot of things can happen”, he dropped in front of the media.
