After the attack on the Volksbank, the perpetrator fled.
After a bank robbery on Monday morning in Achim (district of Verden), the Central Criminal Investigation Service of the police in Verden is investigating. The police measures in the bank have now been completed, said a police spokesman. For tactical reasons, the spokesman did not want to say whether there was any trace of the fugitive. A witness informed the police about the robbery. A man wearing a baseball cap, dark trousers and a dark jacket entered the Volksbank in Achim city center on Monday morning and threatened the employees there. The woman gave him money, then the perpetrator fled. The search for him has so far been unsuccessful.
