From now on Friday Night Baseball, the weekly MBL matches streamed on Apple TV +, can also be followed in Italy. For the moment, access to this sporting event is free, which means that to be able to follow it it is sufficient to be a subscriber to Apple TV +, while later it may be necessary to purchase an additional package.
At the moment there are two scheduled events that can also be followed in our latitudes: the first is thematch between the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies, which will be played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, theother instead it will see the Cincinnati Reds compete against the Milwaukee Brewers at the American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Since these are live events in our part, the times are not among the best, since the first game will be broadcast at 00:25 while the second at 01:25 on Saturday 6 August.
In the past few hours, Apple has extended the streaming of matches on Apple TV + to four new countries: in addition to Italy, Friday Night Baseball can also be followed in Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Germany. Doubleheaders – which are a set of two matches played between the same two teams on the same day – and additional content such as live pre-match and post-match programs can be followed via the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, or on selected consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation, some Smart TVs of brands such as Samsung and LG, or directly via the web from this address.
Friday Night Baseball premiered on Apple TV + in April and will continue to air throughout the 2022 season, which ends on October 5. Matches can also be seen in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and the United Kingdom. The program is part of the expansion of services rumored in May that includes the addition of programs in streaming, sports and advertising.
