Adrian Mannarino stood up well to Jannik Sinner this Wednesday in Montreal. The French left-hander, from qualifying, had a magnificent start to the match before giving in to the Italian, seeded No. 11 in Canada. The latter, led 6-2, 4-4, managed to turn the game around to finally win 2-6, 6-4, 6-2.

In the third set, Mannarino, 70th in the world, even had to call the physio to have his right knee bandaged.
