Acayucan athletes who participated in the National Games CONADE 2022 and other skills were recognized last weekend by authorities of that municipality, within the framework of International Youth Day.
The event was attended by athletes of the stature of Miguel Ángel Carrillo Fonseca, who won four Silver medals in the discipline of Chess in the National phase of the CONADE Games held in Baja California.
In the same way, Iván Suárez Chaires, a World Cup player with Mexico in the U12 Baseball Championship held last week in Taiwan, attended this ceremony.
Each one of them, as well as their coaches, received the distinction from the municipal authorities and also the exhortation, to continue making all the people of Acayucan proud.
Prior to the delivery, Ximena Vázquez Rosado, gold medalist in high jump in the recent national games, thanked both the Municipal President and the City Council in general, for the great support they give them, since that is an essential part in achieving each competitor.
The recognized athletes competed in disciplines such as athletics, karate, cycling, chess, baseball, break dance, badminton, basketball, among others.
