This week this town in the Sierra Morena of Seville relive a journey through time, a trip to the Middle Ages… thanks to the celebration of the XVII Medieval Days.

The trip, on this occasion is double, because to the well-known adventure that supposes the return to the always enigmatic Middle Ages, in this 2022 there will be a trip to normality, the one that has not been lived in this town since 2019, date of the last celebration of these days. Then the buffoons will return to the streets, the smells of fragrances from another time and the paradise of haimas that will populate Alanís. The most curious music will return, the jousts and the knowledge of a time in history that, although dark in its packaging, It is of incomparable beauty.

Alanís will return to enjoy one of his hallmarks. A festival that enhances its tourist area and, in turn, has a direct impact on the economy of the municipality. A celebration that began at the beginning of the 21st century by the then mayor, Ana Rivero. That he borrowed what was necessary from other similar festivals, but that he knew how to introduce his own way of living it and create the differentiating elements that today make it a reference.
