A new understanding is born between Carpenedolo and Gardone

A new project and a new collaboration take shape in Brescia basketball. Amico Basket Carpenedolo and Pallacanestro Gardonese have decided to join forces in view of the upcoming season. The company of president Ilaria Morabito has in fact embraced the idea launched by Gardonese and its president Enrico Guerini. An alliance useful to everyone: Carpenedolo had in fact some problems with numbers to set up a roster for the Promotion, while the Gardonese wanted to have some boys coming out of the youth teams compete in a senior category but did not have the possibility of accessing a high stage. level. And so we thought of an agreement: Carpenedolo will participate in the Promotion championship as in previous seasons but will allow the young people of Gardonese (the company that will manage the technical aspects) to test themselves in a very intense senior tournament. But the team that is being born is very interesting not only for young people, because alongside this group of boys born between 2003 and 2005 there will be some seniors. Starting with the twins Sandro and Davide Marelli, who after years spent on the Serie C fields have chosen to drop the category to act as a hen in the new course. This collaboration also takes shape thanks to the support of Extra Pass, a service company dedicated to basketball founded by the Marelli twins with the aim of helping new generations of basketball players to grow. Previously the collaboration between Gardonese and Extra Pass had been formalized, and Sandro Marelli (who in the meantime also became manager of the Gardonese youth sector), together with his brother Davide, was a bit the promoter of the initiative and moved in the first person to give birth to this alliance. To meet the needs of the young triumplini and seniors, mostly from the city, the team will play the home games in San Zeno, while at the helm there will be Stefano Scalvini, who has closed his career as an athlete in Gardone and for some years he is part of the Migal staff. «The password must be enthusiasm – explains Scalvini, in his first experience on a senior bench -.
