A last game of crucial importance for the Big Bill of Coaticook

BASEBALL. Coaticook’s Big Bill will play his last game of the regular season this Wednesday (August 17), when he visits the Shawinigan Cascades.

With a record of 12 wins and 17 losses, Jonathan Breton’s men find themselves in third place in the B45 division.

Wednesday’s game will be of paramount importance, since the Cactus de Victoriaville (4th place) is only one victory away from catching them. If he slips in the standings, the Big Bill will have to play a series 2 of 3 in the first round (between positions #4 and #5).

If he remains third, he will advance to the second round.

In the event of a tie in the standings, Victoriaville would have the upper hand over Coaticook because of its regular season record against the same team.
