Spain will play the Women’s Series in Eaubonne (France) on August 26 and 27 with the intention of continuing to climb positions in the general classification of the circuit in which it currently occupies sixth position. On this occasion, the national quartet will be made up of the four 2021 European champions.
The Spanish Women’s 3×3 Team faces a new challenge with a new participation in the Women’s Series circuit. After the stop in Québec last weekend, the next August 26 and 27, action moves to Eaubonne (France).
The call is made up of the four European champions, Sandra Ygueravide (Basket Girona/Lointek Gernika Bizkaia), Aitana Cuevas (Girona Basketball), Martha Cinnamon (Basket Girona/Barça CBS) and Vega Gimeno (Basquet Girona/Casademont Zaragoza) Helena Oma (Be GOAT Team Fisioptimus La Rioja/Casademont Zaragoza) and Cecilia Muhate (Elite 3×3/Innova TSN Leganés) have been called up as substitutes. The coaching staff is made up of the Coach, Anna June and the physical therapist, Robert Lazarus.
The team has been framed in the group and on the first day of Friday 26 they will face Dusseldorf Zoos (3:25 p.m.) and the Netherlands U24 (5:10 p.m.). On Saturday 27 the final phase will take place.
At this moment, Spain occupies the sixth position of the general classification of the circuit with 240 points. There are only three stops left to decide the title of this edition of the tournament, but the options of storming the podium made up of Germany, France and the United States remain firm.
