Today all FC fans are looking to Switzerland!
The playoffs for the Uefa Conference League will be drawn in Nyon on Tuesday from 2 p.m. Then FC will find out who they are up against on August 18th and 25th in the fight for a place in the group stage of the Conference League.
BILD explains what the fans need to know by then.
► The exact opponent will not be determined yet. As a seeded team, FC will meet a winner of the third qualifying round that is still to come. More precisely, on a winner of the pairings:
Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) vs. Hamrun Spartans (Malta)
Spartak Trnava (Slowakei) gegen Rakow Czestochowa (Poland)
FC Lugano (Switzerland) vs. Be’er Sheva (Israel)
Fehervar FC (Hungary) vs Petrocub Hincesti (Moldova)
► Good for FC: Thanks to a fortunate arrangement of the draw pots, really difficult playoff opponents such as OGC Nice and RSC Anderlecht were bypassed.
► The draw will take place at the House of European Football and will be streamed live on uefa.com.
► License area boss Thomas Kessler (36) travels to Switzerland as FC representative.
