Officially presented today as a new FC Barcelona player, Franck Kessié delivered his first words as a Blaugrana. The Ivorian has confessed that his AC Milan teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic played a role in his decision to join Catalonia. “Ibra gave me some advice before I signed for Barcelona and he told me that Barca was a good place to come,” said the midfielder. Xavi can therefore thank the Swedish striker because Kessié was one of his priorities for the summer transfer window.
The former Milanese also added during his press conference: “Few players can say no to Barça. I come here to help the team and show what I am capable of.
