The suitcases are no less – in front of the check-in counters as in life itself. It is inexplicable that there are still guys who constantly have to compare women’s football with men’s football. What are these comparisons? They don’t happen in other disciplines either. Neither in basketball nor in volleyball, in table tennis or, because the World Championships in Athletics are currently taking place parallel to the European Football Championship, in the high jump and in the all-around. Men’s competitions are men’s competitions, women’s competitions are women’s competitions and in principle just as high-class, just as exciting.
