Miguel López, in the Men’s 1st category Handicap, and Fuencisla Ramos, in the Women’s Handicap, were the winners of the Alps de las Castillas Amateur Tournament, a competition that was held this Sunday at the Soria Golf Club as the culmination of the tournament for golf professionals. Alps Tours.
The tournament had forty participants.
The amateur championship established a single category for ladies and two for gentlemen: the First, up to handicap 15, and the Second, from handicap 15.1. The game mode was 18 holes Stableford Individual.
The tournament awarded trophies to the first and second place handicap of the two categories of men and the single category of ladies, as well as the champion and the Scratch champion. Thus, in Handicap, in the male section they were awarded in 1st category Miguel Lopez (Soria), with 40 points, and second place, Mario Sala (Navagrulla), while third place went to José Javier Sainz, also from the host club.
In the 2nd category, the winners were Enzo Jiménez (Cerrada Rioseco), 47 points, and Igor López (Soria), second classified.
In Ladies, the best was Fuencisla Ramos (Soria), with 36 points, ahead of her teammates Carmen Ayllón and Gloria Martínez.
Regarding Scratch, in men the trophy was awarded to José Javier Sanz (Soria) with 34 points, ahead of his clubmates Sergio Pascual and Miguel López, while in the women’s section Fuencisla Ramos won with 18 points , ahead of Carmen Ayllón and Gloria Martínez, all of them from the Soria Golf Club.
