Wimbledon > Paula Badosa: “I don’t know how to say it, I’m not Rafa Nadal and I won’t be”

Clearly beaten by Simon Halep (1-6, 2-6), it was not in great “form” for the Spanish player at a press conference, especially since the Spanish media were disappointed with her performance. At the time of taking stock of her tournament, Paula decided not to let it go.

« I think that despite today, the balance sheet should be positive, because of the way the year has gone, because it is my first year in the Top‐10. It should be positive, but I feel a lot of pressure from the people behind it. You are in the second week and now you are asked why you don’t win and when you lose in the first week you are asked why you don’t make it to the second week. I don’t know how to say it, I’m not Rafa Nadal and I won’t be. We got used to that a bit in Spain. We had great players, I hope one day I can do something similar to him.”
