On the sidelines of the official National Day ceremonies, and in oppressive heat, the Parc du Gromesnil castle hosted many activities to wait until the evening fireworks.

On the large lawns and around the refreshing guinguettes, there was something for everyone thanks to the mobilization of many local associations. Demonstrations by the firefighters’ association, archery, ancient games, make-up workshop and vintage vehicles from La Plus Belle Époque, sports initiations, etc.
Horse show
But the highlight of this event was scheduled around 4 p.m. with the acrobatic equestrian show of the association Art on the Horse. A tournament plunging young and old into the time of King Arthur and his knights.
This evening, after the passage of musical groups on the main stage, the MPT and L’Art en Cavale will lead the public around the castle for a torchlight procession, followed by fireworks.
