On Monday, July 18, the javelin discipline of the heptathlon competition took place at the world athletics champion. In it, the Polish athlete Adriana Suleka stood out with a completely unusual action before her throw.

The Polish athlete waved her left hand unusually before the run. Many “Twitter” users drew parallels with the famous “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie character Jack Sparrow. The pirate captain played by Johnny Depp also stood out with his peculiar hand movements.

“Jack Sparrow’s daughter is aiming for the Olympics,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Looks like he was trained by Jack Sparrow,” added another.

Still other Internet users compared Polish athletes to an orchestra conductor or a fencer.

Suleka showed the third best result in the javelin discipline, however, the Polish athlete was immediately behind the bronze medal in the heptathlon overall.
