JUARA.NET – Former two division champion, Henry Cejudo, feels the UFC should no longer provide the main stage for Israel Adesanya because it continues to disappoint.
Israel Adesanya did not perform as expected when he won over Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 on 2 July.
Proud to give a spectacular performance, even to finish Cannonier in a way no one has seen before, Adesanya only won on points.
The Last Stylebender seems to only be looking for safety, fighting to collect points and not taking the risk of appearing open in close quarters to KO the opponent.
After Adesanya’s performance was so disappointing, a number of spectators were even reported to have left when the third round had just started.
This is not the first time that Adesanya’s “find safe” approach has been taken.

Adesanya recorded doing the same way when defeating Marvin Vettori at UFC 263 and Robert Whittaker at UFC 271.
The Nigerian-born champion has always earned a place as a guard for the main event in his last three appearances.
