U20 National Basketball Team beat Belgium 78-75

Competing in the FIBA ​​Under-20 Men’s European Basketball Championship held in Montenegro, Turkey defeated Belgium 78-75 in the classification match.

The crescent-star team, which closed the first quarter of the 5-8 classification match played in the capital Podgorica behind 21-19, entered the halftime behind 41-37.

Finishing the third quarter of the match behind 58-54, the national team won the match 78-75 in overtime, the normal time of which was 68-68.

Adem Bona became the top scorer of the match with 26 points in the Under-20 National Basketball Team under the management of head coach Semih Soğuksu. In the crescent-stars, Sarper David Mutaf scored 12 points, Acar Şen and Tibet Görener 11 each, Ege Özçelik 8, Koray Çekici 7, Yiğit Çoban 2 and Ömer Ege Peksarı competed with 1 point.

Turkey will compete against France for the 5th place in the match that will start at 14:45 CEST on the last day of the championship.
