Two young Ivorians at the NBA camp

Alongside the fervor around the Elephants (vice-champion of the Afrobasket 2021 and clear course 6/6 in the 2023 World Cup qualifiers), the youth categories are a significant part of the policy of the Ivorian Basketball Federation ( FIBB).

To this end, the FIBB has just received an invitation for two baby elephants as part of the 18th Basketball Without Borders Africa camp. They are Cheick Mouhamed Tidjane Diaby (17 years old, 2m09) and Dominique Diomandé (17 years old, 1m96).

This 2022 camp will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from August 28 to 31, 2022 and will bring together the best African hopefuls.

As a reminder, Basketball Without Borders Africa is an elite basketball camp for the best young players from across the region. It will be a unique opportunity for each player to improve his talent under the guidance of FIBA/NBA players and coaches and to rub shoulders with other basketball players from the continent and from the same category.

This news highlights the quality of the work undertaken by the Ivorian Basketball Federation through its Technical Department in setting up a training and competition program for young talents. But also, insist on the return to grace of Ivorian basketball on the international chessboard.
