Major League Baseball’s best and brightest stars gather Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium for the 2022 MLB All-Star Game. The All-Star Game concludes a frantic four-day period that included Saturday’s Futures game, the first 80 picks of the MLB draft 2022 on Sunday and the home run derby on Monday. This is the 92nd edition of the Midsummer Classic and the first at Dodger Stadium since 1980.

Major League Soccer has dominated the All-Star Game in recent years. They’ve won their last eight, 15 of the last 18, and 20 of the last 24 All-Star games. However, the all-time series is only 46-43-2 in favor of the junior circuit.

Houston Astros Captain Dusty Baker officiates the All-Star Game for the second time. Baker headed NL in 2003 after a San Francisco Giants to the 2002 World Championships, although he was a director Chicago Cubs in this season. This was the first time in history that the All-Star Game Manager wasn’t the manager of the team that took him to the World Championship the previous year.

on the hill, Dodger Icon Clayton Kershaw will start on his home field for the NL Club. He will be the first bowler to start on his home court since Max Scherzer snapped the ball at NLV Nationals Park in 2018. rays Left-hander Shane McClanahan, no Engel Superstar Shohei Otani will get the ball for the AL team. It would have been Kershaw vs. Ohtani some fun, although McClanahan is definitely worth the starting job. It’s unknown if Ohtani, who has never made a major league appearance, will be in the All-Star Game.
