Today nineteenth stage, Castelnau Magnoac-Cahors, 189 km. The start at 13.05. Day for surviving sprinters and attackers: hot, 32 degrees, but not hellish. Beware of the wind, which will blow from the West, then from the left of the group, with gusts up to 40 km per hour: watch out for the fans. Curiosity: before the finish line we pass by the Cayx castle, which belongs to the royal family of Denmark, thus closing the circle opened on July 1st in Copenhagen. Cahors hosted only one arrival of the Tour: 1994, with Jacky Durand triumphant with the national champion jersey. The starting city, on the other hand, is unprecedented for the Tour, but very famous in the world of rubgy: from Castelnau Magnoac comes Antoine Dupont, best player of the Six Nations 2020 and one of the strongest internationally.
