Tony Finau wins the 3M Open, Paul Barjon 31st

It was finally Tony Finau who won the 3M Open. The American offered himself a last card of 67 (-4) to win with three strokes ahead of the South Korean Sungjae Im.

« I gave everything. I was playing well, but every time I looked at the leaderboard I felt like I was three or four strokes behind. It all happened on the way back (he birdied three in a row from 14 to 16) and when you take control of a tournament, you don’t want to let go. »

76 (+5)

Like the card returned by Scott Piercy, leader after three laps. The American finished 4th.

The Ryder Cup player lifts his 3rd trophy on the PGA Tour. A performance that allows him to climb to 16th in the world.

« It’s so special to have my family with me here and to be able to celebrate this victory with them, he reacted. They mean everything to me, my wife has been a huge support as has my entire family. Several people have helped me get here and I would be selfish not to thank so many people. My parents and my wife have supported me since day one and this victory is for them. »

For his part, Paul Barjon finished his tournament in 31st place. The Frenchman is 167th in the FedEx Cup.
