Tigullio archers, Italian champion team in field shooting

Concluded the absolute tricolor campaign shooting of Castellarano (Re), the specialty in which Italy obtained the first place in the medal table at the recent World Games in Birmingham (USA).

Sara Noceti, Anna Rocca and Cinzia Noziglia overtook the Uras Archers, competing with Eleonora Meloni, Debora Pinna and Ilaria Spanu. The Ligurian archers led the challenge from the first set (13-10) and then managed to increase the advantage without giving the Sardinians the opportunity to recover, closing on 52-45

The national and Fiamme Oro champion did not betray the expectations of those present Cinzia Noziglia, winning his third absolute career Italian title in the naked arc after those of 2016 and 2019. Silver also for Micah, beaten only by the European champion Marco Bruno (Arcieri Iuvenilia) for 68-65.

In the women’s Olympic arc Sara Noceti (Archers Tigullio) prevails 52-50 over Anna Botto (Archers of the Alps) and takes home an excellent bronze.

In the longbow prestigious results for The Arrows of S. Margherita Ligure. Silver medal for Alfredo Dondi, defeated only at the end of a very hard-fought final by Marco Pontremolesi (Arcieri Fivizzano) for 36-32. Fourth place for Marilena Forni, who surrendered in the final for the bronze only to Maria Cristina Giorgetti (Sagitta Arcieri Pesaro) for 38-15.

The Ligurians also shine in the youth categories, in particular in the Olympic arc with gold (Jacopo Azzoni and Anna Callegari) and silver (Biagio Boggiano) signed by the Tigullio Archers.
