Wearing a Rolex in itself places the lucky owner in an elite of privileged ones, but particular characters have special needs and can even afford to request custom variations. This is the case with NBA champion Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook is a spectacularly built guard with enormous elevation. His dunks are always record-breaking and he’s a great scorer. Such a champion needed a timepiece appropriate to his being. The choice fell on the new Rolex model: the GMT-Master II with a black and green bezel. The GMT created for great travelers, allows you to keep under control two time zones. In fact, thanks to the 24-hour hand and the rotating bezel, it allows you to read the local time and that of a different time zone. But the Westbrook GMT has a couple of features that make it unique. The date window and the crown have an inverted position compared to a classic watch.
