Quebec pioneers of women’s baseball
Baseball has been well established in the Quebec region for a very long time. If the practice of this sport has never been so healthy, the history of women’s baseball in Quebec is far from being such a peaceful story. Rosalie Dufresne broke another barrier last month by becoming the first woman to sign a pact with a formation of the Quebec Junior Elite Baseball League (LBJEQ). The sun had the idea of making a very special place for the cause of women’s baseball and for the three women from Quebec who decided to break the mold by playing high-level baseball with the men.
