The tournament was opened with two A League matches, in which “FK Zvejnieks” and “FK Caljan” met each other, as well as “Medze/BL Serviss” and “FK Blaķene”.
In the first of these pairs, a convincing 8-0 victory of “FK Caljan” was celebrated, during which with the first championship hat-trick Dan Hoon stood out. On the other hand, a goalless draw was recorded in the game between “Medze” and “Blaķene”.
On the first day of the following matches, B League teams – “ABAkompania” and “Priekule/Ruģi”, “RT Metāls” and “Vaiņode” took to the field.
“Priekule/Ruģi” added three points in the tournament table, as “ABAkompaniya” won 4-0. Not only the weather took care of the heat on Tuesday evening, but also the “RT Metāls” and “Vaiųde” teams, who in an interesting and tense battle kept a goalless draw almost throughout the game – a successful last attack of the game in the last seconds allowed “RT Metal” to win.
Two more A and B league games were played on Thursday evening. Initially, “Izzauc partylīti” and “SLV Pluss”, as well as “Vaiųde” and “ABAkompaniya” entered the field.
If “SLV plus” scored a convincing victory in the first match with a score of 5-1, then the match of the second match again provided intrigue throughout the game, however, when the final whistle sounded, the players of “Vaiňode” proved to be stronger, beating their rivals by 3-2 .
This year, both “FK Nīca/OtankiMill” and “Liepājas centra prasavse” played their first match in the A league – during the meeting of both teams, “FK Nīca/OtankiMill”, well-known to amateur football fans, put forward their bid for the championship title, which scored eight balls in the opponent’s goal. but the gate itself remained intact. It should be noted that Valdis Nicis scored half of the goals of the opponents.
“FK Blaķene” and “FK Zvejnieks” took to the pitch in the second A League match. Although after the first half “Blaķene” proved absolute dominance on the scoreboard, ending it with 4-0, “FK Zvejnieks” did not give up in the final part of the game – scored two goals and also created several more good scoring opportunities. At the end of the game, the tournament table is 4-2 in favor of “FK Blaķene” representatives.
