Despite Sue L. Robinson, former judge in charge of determining the sanction of Deshaun Watsonthe Browns are already analyzing free agency in case the Clemson graduate can’t play in 2022.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPNthis week Cleveland has held practices with quarterbacks without a team so that they are ready for the training camp, which will start next week.
The Cleveland Browns are working out quarterbacks this week, including veterans A.J. McCarron and Josh Rosen, per sources. Cleveland looking to go to training camp with four quarterbacks, with Jacoby Brissett to be the QB1 depending what happens with Deshaun Watson’s status.

The most renowned quarterbacks in the Browns tryouts are Josh Rosen y A.J. McCarron. Both QBs were already on the Browns’ radar in case Watson’s penalty is upheld.
On the other hand, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.comadded that the AFC North organization is not interested in Cam Newton. In his last two years as a pro, the 2015 MVP is 7-13 with 311 completions, 3,341 yards, 12 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
It was previously reported that if Watson sees no activity this year, Jacoby Brissett is expected to be the Browns’ starter. In addition, Joshua Dobbs is part of the club’s squad.
Within hours of Fowler’s report, Adam Schefter reported that Rosen will join the Browns on a one-year deal.

Josh Rosenrecruited in the first round of the 2018 Draft, only has 16 starts in four seasons (balance of 3-13). In addition, add 277 passes, 2,864 yards, 12 touchdowns and 21 turnovers.
A.J. McCarron for his part, he has six years of experience in the league (he did not play in 2021) and only has four starts (2-2). Altogether, record 109 completions, 1,173 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions.
