The club’s last general meeting made it possible to report on two consecutive seasons (2019-2020 and 2020-2021) interrupted by the Covid 19 pandemic
The reports drawn up by the managers reported on the various activities (competitions, events, courses, etc.) organized by the Hautes-Pyrénées judo departmental committee, as well as by the clubs of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées departments, which have been able to adapt to the health constraints imposed during this period.
It was sometimes necessary to reinvent judo training, but also that of Jujitsu and Taïso, offered by the BBJ. The licensees have been able to remain patient and faithful, since this sports section has managed to maintain, or even increase the number of licensees (74 to date). The managers went to offer lessons to neighboring schools (Luquet and Gardères), with the participation of Marion Dupont, technical manager of CD 65.
The administrative office, made up of Jérémy Brilland (president), Sébastien Grimaud (secretary), Laetitia Rameau (treasurer), Marc Mollet (main teacher), Cyrielle Bergé (teacher), Béatrice Laffitte (teacher), also had to reorganize by maintaining its remote meetings, which made it possible to schedule outdoor activities (tree climbing at Parc Chloro’Fil) and keep in touch with the youngest, because even if judo is an individual sport, it is important to unite, in order to support each other during competitions.
One of the objectives of this last season was to produce individual bibs, to identify more easily during outdoor events. It is now done, thanks to the financial assistance of SOS Medical Equipment. When the belts were handed over, everyone was entitled to their nominative bib to the greatest pride of all the recipients.
