The municipal council of Saint-Georges met last Monday evening for a regular session. Mayor Claude Morin chaired the meeting, he who is back from vacation.
The Town passed a resolution to provide financial assistance of $6,450 to the Minor Baseball Association and $24,480 to the Saint-Georges Minor Soccer Association.
A memorandum of understanding has also been drafted for the use of the mountain at the Ski Center by Vélo de montagne MSG de Saint-Georges.
The Town also accepted the resolution concerning the retirement of Daniel Côté, head of the sports activities division.
An annual grant of $15,000 is granted to Accueil unconditional for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The next meeting of the municipal council will take place on August 15, 2022.
