Activity for children and adolescents with disabilities.

The Ministry of Human Development, through the Provincial Directorate for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, carried out the first “Adapted Sports Campus”, an activity aimed at children and adolescents with disabilities interested in practicing physical activity, who gathered in the sports center at the end of Parque San Martín.

The coordination of Adapted Sports led by Professor Mariano Vera, together with the entire team of professionals, made available to the attendees sports such as: Basketball 3 x 3, Athletics, Swimming, Badminton, Boccia, Table Tennis, Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Tennis.

Said activity was carried out in a collaborative work with the General Directorate of Sport and Recreation of the capital municipality, the Jujuy Tennis Association, the National Aquatic Foundation, the Jujuy Volleyball Federation and the Jujuy Table Tennis Association.

This type of call adds to the social inclusion of children and young people who want to have a space like everything else in the community and at the same time be able to grow in their learning and development, both physical and mental. Assimilating these days depends on the coordination of the different institutions so that the common goal is for the benefit of people with disabilities. Even more so by focusing on children and that they can experience the different disciplines setting a goal in the short, medium or long term, always with the firm support of the family. So much so that continuity is essential to increase capabilities in each of the meetings.
