FC Barcelona announced on Monday the arrival for four years of Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié, who was at the end of his contract with AC Milan.
“The player will sign a contract until June 30, 2026 and his transfer clause will be set at 500 million euros”said the Catalan club in a press release.
Winner of Serie A
Aged 25, Kessié has spent the last five seasons at Milan, crowned Italian champions last year for the first time since 2011.
In 2021-22, he scored seven goals in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Italian club.

The Ivorian international (58 caps, 6 goals) will be officially presented on Wednesday. Trained at Stella Adjamé, a club in Abidjan, he also went through Atalanta Bergamo and Cesena before arriving in 2017 on loan at AC Milan and signing there definitively in 2019.
