Shaquille O’Neal: “Stephen Curry is the biggest problem in the NBA”

Since becoming an analyst after the end of his legendary career as an NBA player, Shaquille O’Neal He has been one of the figures who has been in the midst of the controversy that may have arisen due to his own statements.

Recently, the legend of the North American basketball competition has done the same in a few words addressed to Stephen Curry. At first glance, they may seem like praise for the Golden State Warriors star and recent champion of the NBA (his fourth ring and first Finals MVP). However, given the precedents with Shaquille O’Neal, it is clear that such words go further.

“The NBA has become a league of shooters. If you can start shooting all your shots from far away, that’s even better. That’s why I think Curry is the biggest problem the NBA has right now. He’s a guy who doesn’t fail. He can shoot close to the rim, from mid-range, from the perimeter and beyond half court. He doesn’t care. He always does it right,” Shaq said.

Unfortunately for Shaquille O’Neal, that ‘problem’ is highly unlikely to go away anytime soon. Stephen Curry has proven to be in one of his best moments. Although he really has almost every award possible, the Warriors star has not run out of ambition.

For his fifth ring

Without many additions, the Golden State Warriors will face the 2022/23 NBA season as the current champion and as one of the favorites to win the next ring. The objective is to continue extending in time one of the most dominant dynasties in history.
